Description
Crispy salmon bites glazed with a sticky honey garlic-citrus sauce, cooked perfectly in the air fryer for a quick, gourmet-quality dish with bold flavor.
Ingredients
4 oz salmon fillet, cubed
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
1 tbsp vegetable oil (for brushing the glaze)
Instructions
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, lemon juice, and rice vinegar to create the glaze.
Place salmon cubes in a shallow dish and pour the glaze over them. Marinate for 15 minutes.
Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels to remove excess marinade.
Toss the salmon with 1 tsp vegetable oil (for even crisping). Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 2 minutes, then pause to flip the salmon.
Brush both sides with the reserved glaze and return to the air fryer for 2–3 minutes, or until golden and caramelized.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Marinate salmon in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours for deeper flavor.
Use a silicone brush to apply the glaze for precision.
Pair with jasmine rice and steamed bok choy for a complete meal.
