Ingredients
6 medium ripe bananas
1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted, for tossing)
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and line basket with parchment paper if needed
Peel and slice bananas into 1/8-inch thick rounds
In a bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, vanilla (if using), and salt
Toss banana slices with melted coconut oil until lightly coated
Spread in a single layer in air fryer basket (work in batches if needed)
Air fry 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp
Cool on wire rack before serving
Notes
Use overripe bananas with brown spots for maximum natural sweetness
Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days
Best served with milk or vegan yogurt as a dip
